Maja Prentice Theatre

About the venue

Maja Prentice Theatre is a City of Mississauga venue on Dixie Road, managed by Crane Creations Theatre Company. Its programme includes live theatre, musicals, dance and community events, bringing a range of performance styles into one local stage space. The venue connects a dedicated theatre experience with the surrounding community, offering audiences a cultural destination outside the downtown core.

The range of theatre, musicals, dance and community use gives the stage a changing identity throughout its programme. Management by a theatre company connects the venue with the practical work of presenting live productions, while its civic role keeps it available to the wider Mississauga community. For audiences, the result is a neighbourhood cultural destination where a dedicated performance room can support both visiting work and the stories and creativity of local groups.
