Meridian Arts Centre: Lyric Theatre

About the venue

Meridian Arts Centre's Lyric Theatre brings live performance into the multi-theatre complex on Yonge Street in North York. It is a distinct auditorium within the centre, giving productions their own stage while sharing the larger cultural destination. When attending a show, look for the Lyric Theatre name on the event details to distinguish it from the other halls in the building.

The Lyric auditorium gives a production its own performance setting while remaining part of a larger family of stages. That relationship lets visitors experience a dedicated theatre programme within a cultural complex that also serves other kinds of music and live presentation. For audiences, the room name is part of the occasion's identity, distinguishing the particular stage from the broader Meridian Arts Centre address and connecting the event with the theatre in which it is presented.
