Plast Huculak Centre

About the venue

Plast Huculak Centre is the home of Plast's Toronto branch and national office, part of the Ukrainian youth organisation's community life. The Kingsway building offers spaces for meetings, workshops, recitals, rehearsals and gatherings. Events here take place within that cultural and educational setting, connecting visitors with a community facility rather than a stand-alone entertainment venue.

The centre's range of spaces supports the everyday work of a youth and cultural organisation as well as organised public occasions. Rehearsals, recitals and workshops can sit alongside meetings and social gatherings, giving the building an identity centred on participation. A visit therefore connects a particular programme with the wider life of Plast's Ukrainian community, where learning, culture and shared activity make the venue a home for more than one kind of event.
