Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church

About the venue

Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church stands on Yonge Street just north of Major Mackenzie Drive. Alongside its congregational life, it has hosted community music programmes, including fundraising concerts supporting local outreach. The church provides a setting where musical performance and community participation meet, bringing audiences together for programmes presented by visiting musicians and local organisations.

A community concert brings the church's local life together with the work of visiting musicians and presenters. Fundraising programmes add another dimension, using a shared musical experience to support activity beyond the performance itself. For audiences, the building offers a neighbourhood setting in which listening and participation are closely connected, with the event carrying both an artistic purpose and a relationship to the people and causes represented by its organiser.
