The Warehouse Venue

About the venue

The Warehouse Venue is an event destination in the Downsview complex on Carl Hall Road in North York. Its address at Unit 2 has been used for public gatherings such as conventions, with organisers bringing their own programme and activities into the space. The venue's identity is closely connected to the event being presented, so the listing and confirmation are the best guide to its layout, entry arrangements and schedule for your visit.

A convention or specially organised gathering gives the space its programme and temporary identity, with people coming together around a shared interest. At the Warehouse Venue, the Downsview location provides the destination while the event's activities determine how guests use it. That makes the venue different from a theatre with one fixed auditorium experience: the organiser's design, programme and audience are central to the atmosphere of each occasion.
