Toronto Centre for the Arts, Lyric Theatre

About the venue

Lyric Theatre is a performance space within Meridian Arts Centre on Yonge Street in North York. This listing retains the former Toronto Centre for the Arts naming used by earlier events at the same complex. The dedicated theatre is part of a wider arts destination, so visitors should check that their ticket identifies the Lyric auditorium rather than another stage at the address.

The Lyric name identifies a specific theatre experience within a complex containing several different auditoriums. That distinction matters when following a production or revisiting an earlier event, since the general Toronto Centre for the Arts name once covered the whole destination. Today, the Meridian Arts Centre identity provides the broader context, while this record preserves the stage name and historic wording connected with the events listed here.
