About the venue
Victoria Ballet Academy is a ballet-training organisation on Bradwick Drive in Vaughan. Its published programmes connect professional and recreational dance study, giving the studio a setting shaped by practice, discipline and performance. An event at the academy brings audiences into that learning environment, where dance is both a creative activity and a shared stage experience.
A ballet academy is a place where the performance seen by an audience is connected to regular practice and study. The studio's mix of professional and recreational programmes reflects that continuum, giving dance both a disciplined and a social role. Events associated with Victoria Ballet carry that learning context into a shared occasion, allowing visitors to encounter the expressive side of an art form whose work is developed through training as well as presented on stage.
