Lawrence Park Community Church

About the venue

Lawrence Park Community Church on Bayview Avenue combines congregational life with a strong music programme. Adult choral singing and handbell groups are among its musical activities, reflecting an ongoing interest in shared performance and participation. The church also welcomes community gatherings, giving concerts and cultural events a local setting connected to an active, inclusive congregation.

Choral singing and handbell activity give the church a creative life in which music is regularly made and shared. Visiting concerts and community programmes can build on that foundation, bringing another audience into a room already associated with participation and listening. The result is a cultural setting with a local identity, where an event connects with the people who use the building as well as the performers or speakers appearing there.
