The Axis Club Theatre

About the venue

The Axis Club is a live-performance venue on College Street in Toronto, at the address historically associated with the Mod Club. Its club setting provides a different experience from a seated concert hall, placing live entertainment within the city's neighbourhood nightlife. The venue publishes information on accessibility and a welcoming-space policy; event-specific details remain the best guide to the format of each show.

The College Street location places the club within a neighbourhood of restaurants, bars and evening activity. Its identity is closely tied to live artists and the shared energy of a club audience, making a visit feel different from an orchestral recital or a formal theatre production. The room's historic connection to the Mod Club also gives this address continuity within Toronto's music scene, even as its name and programmes have evolved.
