Yedi

About the venue

YEDI, the York Entrepreneurship Development Institute, provides entrepreneurship education, training and support for emerging businesses. Its North York campus includes office, studio and theatre space, bringing learning and professional activity together in one environment. The Alness Street venue listing connects events with this broader entrepreneurial community; individual programmes specify the meeting space and arrangements for attendees.

The institute's combination of learning and business support gives a gathering a context of development and exchange. Its campus spaces accommodate professional activity alongside studio and theatre uses, allowing different kinds of programmes to sit within the same entrepreneurial environment. For attendees, an event at YEDI can connect a shared presentation or conversation with the wider purpose of helping people turn ideas into working ventures and strengthen their professional communities.
